About Us

You can’t go around building a better world for people. Only people can build a better world for people. Otherwise it’s just a cage.

Community First

Community Circus Paisley Charity (SCIO) is a registered Scottish charity established to build a permanent, community-owned home for Scottish circus arts—a circus school, performance hub, and vibrant space for the people of Ferguslie Park

Our aim is to use circus to build confidence, improve wellbeing, develop skills and create opportunities for people to connect, participate and progress.

We follow an Asset-Based Community Development approach, putting local strengths and voices at the heart of everything we do - focussing on what's strong, rather than what's wrong..

Our mission is simple: open access to space, skills, and world-class circus training that empowers people to express themselves and thrive.
